Energy is essential for development and sustainable energy is essential for sustainable development!!
What is sustainable energy? – Sustainable energy is a form of energy that meets our today’s demand for energy without putting them in danger of getting expired or depleted and can be used over and over again. It should be encouraged widely because it is free of cost and doesn’t cause any harm to the environment. Even energy experts like Douglas Healy think that these types of energies are going to be the most used energies in the coming future.
Using sustainable energy is one of the effective steps that can help us to preserve the environment. Electricity production is a source of greenhouse gases, much more than the combination of both driving and flying. Moreover, sustainable energy also helps to reduce harmful smog, toxic gases in the air and water. It also controls the impact of coal mining and gas extraction on the environment. It needs a lot of time to replace fossil-fuel and it also requires a good support system from both state and federal for generating the energy and demand for clean energy from consumers.
Within the next few decades, Sustainable energy will be the world’s main or the only source of power. It is establishing a foothold in the global energy system faster than any other fuel in the past.
One of the UK-based oil company said the wind, solar and all other sustainable will account for about 30% of the world’s electricity supplies by the year 2040, higher than the 25% in BP’s 2040 estimates last year, and about 10% of present.
Yes, the world is very much ready for moving towards sustainable energy, in most of the places their people preferring for clean energy. Most of the people all over the world already begun the use of this energy and they are spreading the best experience and good quality of reviews for the same. People feel it comfortable and easy to Maintain. Using nature in natural things for the betterment and in a better way is not a bad decision. Sustainable energy is reliable.
“Bob Dudley, BP’s chief executive, said meeting the challenge of providing more energy while cutting emissions would “undoubtedly require many forms of energy to play a role”.
Coal is one of the most expected and required fuel all over the world and it is considered as the topmost source of power. But in today’s scenario, it is going to be displaced by the sustainable sources of energy as they are expected to grow by 7.1% every year.
According to the records of the last few years, the investment of people in this business and work is increasing unexpectedly very high.it was believed that this growth would be limited to developed countries, but unexpectedly now it is happening significantly in developing countries too. According to the reports, last year records the highest investment in Sustainable energy by $285.9 billion and it was the first time that investment in developing countries topped more than the countries they are developed. Developing countries like China, India, and Brazil alone accounted for about $156 billion of investment commitment.
According to the study by the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) “Renewable electricity generation from technologies that are commercially available today, in combination with a more flexible electric system, is more than adequate to supply 80% of total U.S. electricity generation in 2050 while meeting electricity demand on an hourly basis in every region of the country.”
Definitely we have to leave something for our future generations too and for that, we have to take some effective and immediate decisions or steps before it gets too late. And as it is said that for sustainable development we need sustainable energy is another step taken out for the good future of us and ours.
